Dester Cleo Jeffers, Jr., 65, of Mason, Ohio, passed away October 27, 2016, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, August 8, 1951, he was preceded in death by his parents, Dester Cleo, Sr. and Bonnie Phillips Jeffers; and sister, Judith (Jack) Bonert-Caliguri.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #678, and attended Cornerstone Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Clark Jeffers of Mason, Ohio; daughter, Kyla D. (Karl) Barton of Mason, Ohio; son, Dester Cleo (Savannah) Jeffers, III of Mason, Ohio; grandchildren: Katrina Barton, Karissa Barton, Dester Jeffers, IV, and Wyatt Jeffers; siblings: Donald (Louise) Jeffers of Oneida, Jean Carolyn (David) Anderson of the Paint Rock community, and Dennis (Tina) Jeffers of Independence, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.
Masonic service and funeral service were conducted October 30, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Barnes officiating. Music was provided by Alan and Diane Carson. Interment followed at Sexton Memorial Cemetery.
