Mildred Sexton, 79

Mildred Sexton, 79, of Huntsville, passed away July 2, 2016, at Huntsville Manor Nursing & Rehab Facilty in Huntsville.

Born in Scott County, October 25, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Irene Robbins Lewallen; husband, Floyd Sexton, I; sisters: Maxine Moore, Betty Glander and Irene June Lewallen; brothers: Hillard Butler, Eugene Lewallen, Cooledge Lewallen, and Archie Lewallen, Jr; step-son,Marshall Sexton; and step-grandchild, Roger Allen Sharp.

She was a member of Congregation at Glenmary, and was a employee of Clinch Powell Educational Co-op for more than 25 years.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Deana) Sexton; grandson she raised, Floyd (Jessica) Sexton, II; grandchildren: Heather Sexton, and Jesse, Cole and Cody; step-children: Tony (Teresa) Sexton, Patsy (Rex) Jeffers and Shirley (Roger) Sharp; step-grandchildren: Steve Jeffers, Cynthia Sharp, and Donna McDonald; great-grandchildren: Mallory, James, Rayse and Kamden; and  many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted July 5, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home-Huntsville with Bro. Bob Hill, Bro. Dudley Harness and Bro. Eli Crowley officiating. Music was provided by family and friends. Graveside service was conducted July 6, at Byrges Creek Cemetery.
