Wilda Faye Boyatt, 82, of the Buffalo community, Oneida, passed away May 2, 2016, at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center.
Born in Oneida, November 14, 1933, she was preceded in death by her parents, Fred C. and Esther West Boyatt; daughter, Darlene Stewart; infant sisters: her twin, Lora Maye, Maude and Anneda, as well as Beulah Ellis and Mildred Cordell; brothers, Earl H. (Chief) and Fred Boyatt, Jr.; nephew, Chuck Hammock; and brothers-in-law, Varoe Ellis and Victory Cordell.
She was employed by HBD Manufacturing, and was a member of Pine Creek United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty (Charles) Hammock of Oneida, and Wanda (Leo) Woytek of Reno, Nevada; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted May 5, in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Marcum officiating. Music was provided by Christel Boyatt and Pine Creek United Baptist Church Choir. Graveside service was conducted May 6, at New Light Cemetery.
