Betty Louise Pemberton, 78, of Robbins, passed away October 7, 2016, at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born in Scott County, June 16, 1938, she was preceded in death by her parents, C.E and Martha Florence West Storey; husband, Herbert Hoover Pemberton; sisters, Maxine Evans and Shelia (Tootsie) Bowling; and brothers: Robert, Paul, Mack, Claude, Glen, George, Bill and John Lee Storey.
She was a member of New River Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Sherry Pemberton and Tammy (Phil) Saffel; grandchildren: Phillip Seth Saffel, Sydney Lynne Saffel, and Cody Pemberton Saffel; great-grandson, Phillip; sister, Flossie Hughett; and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted October 9, at New River Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Kermit Phillips and Bro. Curtis Phillips officiating. Interment followed at Storey Cemetery.
