Johnnie Darles Owens, 78, of the Straight Fork community, passed away July 23, 2016, at home.
Born in Lake City, January 9, 1938, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Fredrick and Delphia Johnson Lindsay; and son, Terry Lee Murray.
She was a member of Habershame Baptist Church of Campbell County.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lance Owens of the Straight Fork community; children, Lisa Taylor and Connie Owens; son-in-law, Kyle Murray; grandchildren, Jamison Murray and Monika West; great-grandchildren: Lakhan, Ethan and Lucas; in-laws, M. J. and Ann Owens; and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted July 25, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home-Huntsville with Bro. Michael Ray Jeffers and Bro. Jeff Bullock officiating. Music was provided by Robby Owens. Graveside service was conducted July 26, at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
