Estel Jr. Terry, 82, passed away peacefully July 10, 2016, at home with his wife by his side.

Born in Scott County, April 2, 1934, he was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie B. and Marie Butler Terry; grandmother, Pearl Terry; brother, Eddie Dean Terry; sisters: Joann Winchester, Helen Erwin and Jean Williams; and aunt, Alice Thomas.

He was proud to be of the Christian faith and loved to sing and play his music for the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ruth Sexton Terry; children: David Ray (Tanji) Terry and Angel Doreen (Shane) Sexton, both of Robbins, Ricky Van (Trina) Terry of Oneida, and Gary Jr. (Tiffany) Terry of Rugby; grandchildren: Misty Dawn Smith, David Dwayne Terry Smith, Davin Ryan Terry, Andre’ Matthew Terry, Kaysha Golden, Sara Leigh Terry, Tyler Jacob Terry, Andrea Terry, Gary Mitchell Terry, Kellie Lowe, Austin Drake Sexton, and Dusty Blake Sexton; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Andrew, Shaleigh, Bailey, Jake, Jade Ann, Gracie, Landon, Abby Aria, Harper, and Copper; and several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.

The family was to have received friends from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home-Huntsville with Bro. Jason Kerr and Bro. Joseph Storey officiating. Interment was to have followed at Baptist Memorial Cemetery, Robbins.
