Walter R. Owens 94, of the High Point community in Oneida, passed away February 9, 2016, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Scott County in Oneida Born in Scott County, October 13, 1921, he was preceded in death by his parents, Enmon and Kizzie Lowe Owens; wife, Pearl Cross Owens; daughter, Marilyn Chadwick; son, Harry Lee Owens; grandson, Brandon Owens; sister, Marie Goforth; and in-laws, Frank and Elizabeth Massengale Cross.
